A (501) (C) (3) charitable corporation designed to receive contributions, memorial gifts, and property. The primary objective is educational projects related to the trucking industry and scholarships for deserving students who are children of MTA member employees who are enrolled in scholastic endeavors.
SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
Over thirty-five years ago, the Mississippi Trucking Association Foundation Scholarship Program was created. Scholarships are offered through the Mississippi Trucking Association Foundation, and the following Endowments: Mike McLarty, John Fayard, Jr., H. Dean Cotten, G. Larry Kerr, R. Gene Holmes, Vernon G. & Nancy Sawyer, John D. Stomps, and W. Todd Bates.
Deadline for submission of 2026-2027 MTAF Scholarship Application has passed. Check back February 1, 2027 for the 2027-2028 Application.
